Song Kran is the Thai traditional New Year and also known as the “Water Festival”. Sunset Park Resort & Spa would like to invite all of you to our poolside fabulous Thai & B.B.Q. Buffet Dinner from 6.30 to 10.30 pm! Traditional Thai style party in the “Northern Thai Style” Theme and enriched by many Thai Cuisine food stalls such as “Pad Thai”, the infamous Thai style dry noodles, “various Thai style noodle soups”, “Tom Yum Goong”, spicy hot and sour soup with prawns and Thai herbs, etc.

21 November 2010 Loy Krathong Day
This special event occurs on the night of the full moon in the twelfth lunar month. Loy Krathong is an ancient traditional ceremony for Thai people to express their gratitude to the Goddess of the Water by releasing Krathongs, floating offerings made from banana leaves decorated with flowers, a candle, and incense sticks, into the river. This ceremony is also for liberating past misfortunes and wishing for a good luck for the future.
Guests would receive a Krathong to float in the canal of the resort and take photos with our beauty pageants dressing in traditional Thai costumes.
